Jessica A. Poli 

​

Jessica Poli is a Senior Associate at Perricone Law. Jessica counsels private equity funds, investment advisors, institutional investors, and family offices regarding alternative asset investments and related transactions. Jessica drafts, negotiates, and advises on fund related documentation, and has significant experience with a wide variety of fund structures established in a number of jurisdictions. Jessica also has experience representing sponsors, borrowers, and lenders in leveraged acquisition financings.  

 

Prior to joining Perricone Law, Jessica was an associate at Cummings Fisher in London. While at Cummings Fisher, Jessica gained experience providing advice in the alternative investments arena to clients including hedge funds, real estate funds, credit and debt funds, long-term equity funds, as well as proprietary traders and family offices. Jessica also has experience with the U.K. regulatory regime, the AIFMD, and other EU legislation impacting hedge funds and alternative investments.

 

Jessica also has experience in leveraged finance. Jessica was an Associate in the London office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and the New York office of Mayer Brown. As an associate at Simpson Thacher, Jessica represented financial sponsors and borrowers in U.K., U.S., and cross-border leveraged finance acquisition finance transactions. While at Mayer Brown, Jessica's practice focused on representing lenders in domestic and international secured and unsecured bank financings. Jessica has extensive experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security documents, commitment papers and term sheets.

 

Jessica earned her J.D. from American University, where she was a staff member of the American University Law Review. Jessica is also a graduate of James Madison University, where she received her bachelor's degree in Finance.
