INVESTOR REPRESENTATION
The investor side of the fund equation is equally as important as the formation side. As investor capital and commitments become larger and more meaningful, the negotiation of those relationships and related side-letters become increasingly important. Understanding the “market terms” between sponsors and investors is critical to these negotiations.
Perricone Law has represented a number of prominent institutional investors, pension funds, private foundations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and high net worth individuals with their investments in private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, and specialty funds. Because we have substantial experience on the fund formation side, we understand how fund sponsors think, and what they are looking for with respect to both strategic partners and anchor investors. Alternatively, there may be instances where an investor decides it should sell or transfer a particular fund investment or a portfolio of investments - and whether one investment or several, we have the experience and capability of effecting secondary sales and transfers efficiently.
