Welcome Note
May 2017 - Welcome to Perricone Law - a newly formed boutique law firm based in New York City providing high-level legal counsel to Private Investment Funds, Investment Advisers, Institutional Investors, and Family Offices.
After nearly 25 years of practicing law in New York City as a Partner at some of the largest and most prestigious global law firms, I came to an important inflection point and decided to launch my own law firm. When I looked closely at my style of practice and the direct engagement I have with my clients, I realized that, without the numerous distractions and enormous overhead endemic to large law firms, I could deliver a better value proposition to my clients – providing the same high-level legal counsel with a significantly lower fee structure.
This is an interesting inflection point in a second way. A primary aspect of my practice is forming funds for private equity sponsors, hedge fund managers, real estate investors, and venture capitalists – many of whom are now running some of the largest and most successful funds in the world with billions of dollars in assets under management. Helping financial entrepreneurs launch new funds has always been extremely satisfying to me, so interestingly enough, it’s now time for me to be the entrepreneur in the room and launch Perricone Law.
So as I embark on my new venture, I would like to thank all of the extraordinary attorneys and former partners whom I've had the privilege of working with over the years and whom have helped shape me and my practice. And most importantly, I would like to thank all of my clients who have been extremely encouraging, supportive, and loyal as I begin this new chapter of my legal career.
